Sani Lodge

Sani Lodge is truly a one of a kind Ecuador eco-lodge dedicated to ecotourism, environmental conservation, and community projects in the Amazon rainforest. Sani Lodge is owned and operated by members of the Sani community, meaning that with their extensive knowledge of the Amazon wildlife and biodiversity they can give the guests of Sani Lodge the true experience of the Ecuadorian Amazon jungle.

In addition to providing excellent service to its guests, Sani Lodge participates in community ecotourism - profits from the jungle lodge are reinvested into the community, improving the lives of all who live there.

Features

Food, Cuisine
The cuisine of Sani Lodge is customized to its guest's needs, requiring a special diet or being vegetarian is not a problem, here the cuisine will be innovative, combining examples of fresh, local ingredients and international style.

Camping
Equipped with two shared bathrooms, showers and wooden thatch-roofed structures, this is ideal for people looking for an experience out in the wild.

Night hicking
A hike through the Rainforest during the night is an opportunity to discover the mysteries of what happens in the dark, hidden behind the shadows, in the deep recesses of the forest are the animals which one can see only at night.

Prices 2013:

Prices include: accommodation, 3 meals per day, a native guide, a bilingual guide, rubber boots for the walks, excursions and transportation from Coca's airport to the lodge and vice versa (on operating days Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays).

Do not include: Airfare to and from Quito $175, bus tickets $20, parrot clay lick, bar bills (pay at the lodge only on cash)

Operation days:
Monday: 5 Days / 4 Nights
Wednesday: 3 Days / 2 Nights
Friday: 4 Days / 3 Nights

* Special Note:
If you would like to visit the Lodge another day, there is an extra cost of $400 USD for renting the canoa ($200 each way). This cost does not apply to groups larger than 6 people or tours of 6 days or more.
